Using our site and the app.
These terms cover carboncaptureshield.com and the Brother Nature app at platform.carboncaptureshield.com.
Who we are
Carbon Capture Shield, Inc. is based in San Antonio, Texas. Carbon Capture Shield, Inc. is a Delaware company. In these terms, “CCS” means that company. Contact: [email protected]. Privacy requests: [email protected].
Who the services are for
The website and the Brother Nature app are for adults and businesses: growers, carriers, processors and the people who work with them. They are not made for children. By using the app you say you are an adult, using it for yourself or for a business.
What the app does, and what it doesn't
- The app keeps your records on your phone and on the phones you hand loads to. CCS keeps no backup of your records, so CCS can't restore records lost with a phone. The relay holds only what the privacy page describes.
- You are responsible for what you record, sign and send. A record shows what a phone signed. It is not a certificate, a carbon credit, or proof of a sale.
- The app is free while it is in testing. Every user gets the same full privacy and data handling, whether or not they pay. A paid plan only adds features or modules, and may add more relays or encrypted cloud storage for packages. A paid feature that sends data to us says so where it is described, and applies only when you use it. Nothing on a paid plan makes privacy on the free app weaker.
- What the app sends, and to whom, is set out in Privacy.
Files you send
Anyone with the sealed file and its passphrase can open it. The same goes for a file sent by link. Send the passphrase only to the person meant to have it. Send only files you have the right to share. The relay deletes nothing by itself, so what it holds stays there.
This website
The words, films and pictures on this site belong to CCS or to the people credited beside them. Ask us before you reuse them. Field notes and plans on the site describe what was observed or planned on a date; they are not offers or advice.
Your rights under consumer law
